Kolding School of Design and the Bevica Foundation strengthen their collaboration and allocate a total of DKK 12 million for research and teaching in universal design

Kolding School of Design and the Bevica Foundation are expanding their partnership with a new grant totalling DKK 12 million, of which DKK 5 million consists of the school’s own contribution in the form of research time. The grant will support teaching, research and educational development in universal design and the UN’s sustainability goal Leave No One Behind up until 2030.

Play and storytelling help prevent poor well-being

How do we bring the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the classroom and make teaching truly engaging? That’s the question researchers, storytellers, and designers from across Europe have explored over the past four years through the project PLACES, with Kolding School of Design playing a central role.

"The illustration represents our collaboration around design, play, and children - and our shared interest in educating and designing for play for children around the world," Solangy Trejos Sánchez explains. She recently visited Kolding School of Design and painted the mural on one of the school walls.

Me You Us: Exploring Digital Tools for a More Sustainable and Inclusive Fashion Education

Over three years, the EU-funded project Me-You-Us invited students, educators, and industry partners to experiment with new ways of designing and teaching to explore how digital technologies can support sustainability, inclusion, and diversity in fashion and textile design education.
