Farmakarma - a community farm in Kolding by Weronika Cyrankiewicz, Agata Budner, Angela C.M. Munro, Henriette Frøslev Hjortshøj

Farmakarma is a concept of a community-supported farm in the centre of Kolding. The idea is to create a space for interaction between pigs and people in order to break the distance and stereotypes that emerged due to the meat industry. There are twice as many pigs as people in Denmark, yet we never see them. They live and die far away from our eyes. We meet them as a product often forgetting that what we eat was once alive. The aim of this project is to make pigs visible, thus awoke empathy towards them and build a connection with those incredible animals.
