About the project
Currently just one restaurant throws out more than 1000kg empty sea shells a year.
Shaping shells is about upcycling shell-waste from restaurants and to create a circular concept. It is a new way of thinking materials into our world.
We created this material with all natural binders that are 100% degradable and can be used as fertilizer for soil. This material has very low impact (if any) on our ecosystem and the world. The production depends on the invasive oyster specie and waste from restaurants.
