About the project
Our project aims to encourage collaboration between children and their families in crafting handmade objects or toys using discarded materials.
During our visit to a recycling center in Kolding, Denmark, we discovered an abundance of unused resources, including wood panels, fabric, and wool.
These materials were repurposed to be integrated in a playful weaving kit, which include an assortment of tools and materials, such as an adjustable frame, yarn, yarn supports, needles, and a guidebook.
Additionally, our project features a clear and visually appealing concept tutorial that details how to create these personalized items using found materials and weaving techniques.
