About
How can we present data about wind turbine performance in such a way that users would want to improve the performance by exploring the system?
The wind power industry is currently not running up to its full potential. In the past this was due to lack of innovation in the tech department, but presently this can be almost entirely attributed to servicing. Production reports are lengthy and complex which often leads to focusing on the wrong errors or making (misguided) maintenance plans.
Purpose
Danish Wind Power Academy wishes to create an online platform where everyone in the industry can easily track their production, errors and discover potential. DWPA can help to interpret and offer training courses to improve performance. Apart from making a platform available for tracking, DWPA also hopes in the future to motivate the industry to share their data with each other. In this way it will be possible to make predictions based on the data. Designschool Kolding helped design the platform, its contents and its overall look and design.
