About the project
How might we challenge and investigate polyester as a material through pleating and create a sustainable position as a designer?
This project seeks to understand a material that is generally considered unsustainable. Polyester is prejudiced because it is not made from natural materials, such as cotton. Nevertheless, this synesthetic material has advantages that I would like to explore through fabric manipulation.
