About the project
The project is exploring restaurant culture and the possibilities within combing sculptural elements with tableware to create a different restaurant experience, that challenge the expectation towards tableware at a restaurant.
A test menu was prototyped and tested. The tableware for the first dish had garden-inspired elements, where the testers could drink from the lake and from the flowers and pull up abstract plant-inspired shapes and eat from their roots. Another dish included a cup shaped like a heart to play with the symbolic meaning of drinking from a heart.
