Instructions for the practical test
Please note: If you apply via quota 1, you will not be asked to complete a practical test.
All quota 2 applicants applicants with a qualifying exam – or an exemption – who have submitted their portfolio and CV will be invited to complete the practical test. The exam will consist of different individual assignments and a group project.
We assess your results based on your ability and potential:
- To examine and record visually
- To work with purpose and relate your work to a specific context
- To develop ideas through sketches and experiments
- To work aesthetically with form, colour, materials and media
- To convey and communicate visually
5 - 6 April 2025
The practical test will take place online on the weekend 5 and 6 April 2025. The practical test will be online, so you work from home (or where you prefer). You will receive further information regarding the practical test when we send you the invitation for the test.
If you are not able to attend due to illness, please contact us so we can work something out.
What will you need to prepare for the practical test?
Since we have not yet prepared the test in detail, we cannot tell you which specific tools you will be needing. For now, concentrate on what you usually use.
