One cactus to go please!
”Choose your right addiction”. This is what the winners Lisa Collmer, Martina Hajny and Tamas Boldizsár suggest. They are responsible for one of two projects that won this year's Flower Design Award, which was awarded during the Design School Kolding Open House Event.
Not one but two winners
Two of the six projects were so good that the jury decided to elect both of them winners: ”Choose your right addiction” and ”Plant to grow". The latter is created by Dahra Mia Rohde Kirchert, Eik Balling, Karina Skov Kristensen, Anne-Marie Gundelwein and Yarden Deddi. All of them students at Design School Kolding.
Both projects challenge the conventional potted plant and reinvent it in a sassy, brave and humourous way. ”Choose your right addiction” is about choosing experiences and linking the sensous pleasure of potted plants with psychedelic drugs. ”Plant to grow” is inspired by the ”to-go” concept and makes buying a potted plant as easy as buying a coffee to-go.
The two winners will share the cash prize of DKK 30,000.
