Copenhagen Fashion Week is on and the city is filled with lots of young talented designers. Just a few seasons back we were told to look out for two young upcoming Kolding designers. Now they have cemented their name in Danish fashion. Mark Tan and Nicolas Nybro, successful Design School Kolding graduates, have both managed to launch their own fashion brands. Now they present their new collections at the CPH Fashion Week.

Mark Tan’s brand ”Mark Kenly Domino Tan” represents exquisite design and quality. It is designed for women with an eye for exclusive and beautiful design. In 2014, Mark Tan won the Magasin Dansk Design Talent Award for his creative approach to materials and sustainability, and in 2015 the Danish Crown Prince Couple awarded him the Stardust Award (Stjernedrysprisen).

Nicolas Nybro launched his brand in 2011. With his humorous and straightforward approach to aesthetics, he has proven to be a designer with a powerful conceptual flair who does not compromise with materials or crafts. This has not gone unnoticed in the fashion industry, and last year he was nominated for the Dansk Design Talent Award. SQ2 is the title of his new collection and it is inspired by Nicolas Nybro’s favourite fairytale ”The Snow Queen” by Hans Christian Andersen.
