We wish to thank Kolding Kommune, Augustinus Fonden, Tage Vanggaard og Hustrus Fond, Beckett Fonden and 15. juni Fonden for generously contributing to the realization of this year’s Graduation Exhibition.
Exhibition venue
We are pleased— for the first time in many years— to present the exhibition in our "new" school building at Ågade 10. The building underwent a comprehensive transformation in 2023-2024 to create the best conditions for students and staff. The technological developments demand future-proof workshop facilities, while the school's status as a university has greatly accelerated research, which also requires physical spaces for co-creation.
The A.P. Møller Support Foundation contributed DKK 24 million to the renovation, the Aage and Johanne Louis-Hansen Foundation contributed DKK 15 million, and the Augustinus Foundation contributed DKK 11 million. Kolding School of Design's own financing amounts to DKK 17.8 million.
The renovation took just over 1 1/2 years and was carried out by CUBO Architects, with Hansen & Knudsen A/S as the main contractor and Tegnestuen Mejeriet as the project management consultant.
During the renovation, the entire school was temporarily relocated to Dyrehavevej 116 in Kolding, which previously housed UC Syd.
Welcome!
