New and familiar faces in Research

Actually, two PhD students have already moved into their offices namely Trine Møller and Anna Sesay. Louise Ravnløkke, current workshop manager of the school’s knit workshop, begins her project on 1 September.

Two projects, Anna Sesay and Louise Ravnløkke’s, will be part of the research cluster within textile, fashion and sustainability and Trine Møller’s will add to the knowledge production within accessory design with a focus on welfare design. She has worked as an innovation consultant with Fredericia Municipaliy and has a design degree from TEKO supplemented by a MA in Health and Wellbeing from Kingston University, London, as well as a MA in Design Management from SDU/Design School Kolding.

Anna Sesay is from Germany and recently worked for Noma/MAD where she worked with food and innovation. Anna Sesay’s background is from Anthropology and she finished her MA at Copenhagen University in Anthropology and People Centered Business. Her BA is from the University of Amsterdam in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology.

Louise Ravnløkke has an MA degree in Textile Design from Design School Kolding and also runs her own company.

The new jobs in the Research department also means a warm welcome to a familiar face, namely Associate Professor Silje Kamille Friis. She returns to teach and do research within design methods, process and collaboration.
