We support Ukraine
On behalf of the Government, Minister for Higher Education and Science Jesper Petersen has called on Danish universities and higher education institutions to suspend all education, research and innovation cooperation with institutions in Russia and Belarus.
The Minister further recommends refraining from initiating new exchanges with institutions in Russia and Belarus in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
- I urge universities and higher education institutions to suspend their cooperation with institutions in Russia and Belarus. It will be a clear signal that aggression will lead to isolation from the international community. The Government condemns the actions of Russia and Belarus and supports Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, says Minister for Higher Education and Science Jesper Petersen.

Our thoughts go first and foremost to the Ukrainian people, including researchers and students, who are currently going through a terrible nightmare. We hope that the atrocities against the Ukrainian people will stop, so that there will be peace in Europe again!
