Since the middle of the previous century the core values of Danish and Japanese design have inspired each other – and these values still hold true, if you ask industrial designer Rabia Özdemir Yilmaz.
Danish-Japanese Bookcase
Based on our 2019 home furnishing needs, she has created a bookcase that is rooted in both Danish and Japanese design traditions. With its exquisite carpentry, the bookcase offers the user the opportunity for individual customisation, functioning as a practical storage place but also as a display for things you would like to showcase.
