Daylight

WHAT? Light sculpture that passes on information provided by the Sun.

HOW? By approaching daylight as a material, Jesper Mumm Sylvest has designed an object that communicates and emphasizes the beauty in natural light and its positive effects. He has explored the interplay between what is natural and what is artificial and controlled. The object itself is made of a special plaster.

WHY? The Sun is our most important source of light and of life. Still, many of us spend most of our time indoors surrounded by artificial, poor-quality light, which makes us lose the connection with and respect for nature and our planet.
