Background
Studies show that people who eat alone spend less time in the kitchen and often eat in front of a screen.

The emotional and sensory aspects associated with living and eating alone

Against this background, the designer has explored the emotional and sensory aspects associated with living and eating alone by developing a speculative design concept where food is consumed through a tube inserted in the navel, and all sensation has been digitized. The project is a critical commentary on optimization, health and food culture, which calls for reflection.
