Eszter Eva Smid explores and highlights the sense of smell as an overlooked sensory perception through jewellery made with scent channelling materials and silver.
Scentsory Jewellery
What if we could possess an object that keeps a smell memory and sustains the uncanny connection between the heart and the nose? Smell and jewellery are powerful instruments to influence emotions and memories. Scent-memories are the most resistant to decay, and by inviting the wearer on a ‘mental journey’ they can revisit past events.
