Background
Peace and quiet are in short supply in today’s world – even if we go into nature, which has traditionally offered a peaceful universe for most people.
A private textile space
To address this, Marianne Nielsen has collaborated with Beck & Kinch to design a textile space in a project titled ‘Omfavnende Forgængelig Privatsfære’ (Sheltering Perishable Private Sphere). The space offers a small private sphere for one in the middle of nature and the community, created in a handmade textile constructed of biodegradable natural fibres.
