Background
Starting with headphones, the designer examines alternative ways to manufacture digital high-tech products, which would be better for the environment and for the users.
User-made electronic spare parts
The solution is the Sphēra platform where parts are updated and produced locally, allowing users easy access to spare parts so they can simply exchange the parts on their headphones that need to be renewed. In this way, it is possible to rebuild and upcycle the products indefinitely to adapt to changing tastes and needs.
