Background
Aids and welfare technology can potentially improve life for people who have lost the use of their limbs. But paradoxically the technology is often far from user-friendly, because it is designed from a medical perspective without any regard to aesthetics and individuality.

The Exclusive Helping Hand

The user's personality and style are pushed in the background and the aid is rejected. Tommaso Mazzoni's lightweight and elegant glove acts as a soft external skeleton over the hand. Thus, people with spinal cord paralysis, using sensors and advanced technology, can once again perform simple grips while displaying a sophisticated and modern look.
