Absent body, abject garment

But we rarely see that when the clothes are lying on the floor, are folded over a chair or are hanging out to dry. This project investigates the flatness and the roominess of clothing. Is discarded clothing like dead skin; abject, neither subject nor object? Does clothing without a body have a sculptural and a textile value, perhaps as a relief or an object? And can one flatten the hierarchy of the materials and look at clothing with fresh eyes?
