Embroidery, repair, crocheting and patchwork. These are examples of some of the craft traditions that are now gaining momentum as a backlash against the polluting and climate-hostile 'fast fashion.'

Equipped with these techniques, clothes can be granted added value in a way that incorporates recycling, minimization of waste and also longer durability. The designer has researched these craft techniques by talking to both professional and amateur craftspeople about their sentiments regarding the techniques, in order to gain an insight into the potentials and weaknesses of the techniques.
