For even though on paper a person has the measurements that fit the size, it is far from certain that the clothes fit very well, or even suit the wearer. Conversely, one-size-fits-all clothing has a negative reputation for being unbecoming. Under the guidance of clothing designer Sofia Ilmonen, the designer is determined to change this with her collection of one-size-fits-all clothes for women. Here the clothes are shaped by pulling and tying them so that they fit the individual’s body – thus breaking with the tyranny of size.
