Flying drones is a lot of fun. Letting your remote-controlled engine soar over cities, fields and countrysides, maybe equipped with sensors, cameras, or – in a not too distant future – a hot pizza. But just as fun as it is to fly, just as boring is it to learn the skills.

The Playful Drone Pilot

Ann-Kathrin Scholtyssek herself has mastered the art of navigating the flying robot and is challenging the monotonous one-way instruction. She introduces play to teach the student pilots the required theoretical knowledge by applying a model city, wind simulation and learning games.
