Background
By working with sensory elements such as colours, shapes, and materials, the designer has developed proposals for communal spaces that strengthen the connection between people and their surroundings in a small residential area in Marienlyst, Aarhus.
Spaces between spaces
The project has the potential to enhance well-being by creating physical environments where meaningful encounters can occur spontaneously. In a broader perspective, the design contributes to urban development goals aimed at optimising shared spaces in more densely populated areas, supporting a more sustainable urban structure with room for both people and nature.
