Learning should be fun for kids, irrespective of the cost – or maybe not. Through collaboration with the Lego Foundation and less-affluent schools in South Africa Cinzia Damonte and Beate Neimane have designed an inexpensive and sustainable alternative to the Lego Foundation Six Bricks project created from readily available recycled materials. The learning tool is going to benefit children from low-income families and focusses on developing their physical, emotional, social, cognitive and creative skills.
