Background
In collaboration with the Centre for Digital Pedagogy, the designer has developed an Augmented Reality poster aimed at promoting respectful communication in gaming among children aged 10-14 in esports clubs.
Respect in esports
The poster features an animation of a character typing offensive messages online, who is then swallowed by a tentacle, delivering a powerful visual message: Speak nicely, or else... With 84 % of children aged 1-15 playing digital games at least weekly, the poster serves as an important reminder to maintain a positive tone in esports environments.
