Background
We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with information designed to capture our attention. Yet, it can be disruptive to a conversation if someone sits restlessly — a common self-regulating behaviour known as stimming.

Sensory play for neurodiversity inclusion

The designer has created a series of objects that normalize stimming and promote social understanding by combining music with play. The project emphasises the need for inclusion and proposes a dual utility: the individual experience of achieving focus or self-soothing through sensory stimulation and the social significance of wearing such a product.
