Jewellery collection of waste material from the beef cattle industry
Sigrid Bendixen has created a modern jewellery collection with the potential to last for generations. The green transition requires that we use the materials we surround ourselves with to a greater extent and value the products we acquire. The collection therefore focuses on a sustainable residual material, namely horn from the beef cattle industry, in interaction with sustainable silver recovered from our residual waste. The design highlights the functional and aesthetic qualities of the materials as well as their sensory value.
