Background
Through conversations with women, diagnosed with ADHD, and studies of their objects, Sofie Graabæk Byriel has uncovered which sensory experiences can have a calming or stimulating effect.
Subtle Relief
She has explored the effect using shape, weight, attenuation of sound, movement, texture, and locations in different places on the body. Based on her discoveries, she has created a collection of jewellery that can strengthen focus and calm without stigmatizing the wearer. The collection has two sides: one with a subdued expression, and one with a more expressive one.
