Background
Amalie Grauengaard has created a piece of silver jewellery in the form of a pinhole camera that requires the photographer to sit still for 5 minutes for the picture to come out.
Very still photos in a busy world
By capturing a moment and anchoring it in the reflections or memories that this stillness gives rise to, the piece may help bring a sense of calm in a busy everyday life. In interaction with the jewellery, the wearer also creates a unique and personal connection between body, site and object.
