Background
Anna Bruun Kristiansen weaves self-supporting architectural components intended to form a spatial setting for talks, concerts and exhibitions in the former church hall at Vitskøl Monastery.
Self-supporting textiles
The colours and transparency of the layers of the textiles interact with the space, light and people in the church hall and is also a study of ways of making self-supporting textiles in a manual process that can be translated into an industrial production method.
