WHAT?
A concept and a catalogue consisting of a set of material samples with prints, patterns and colors that explore playfulness in surface design for spatial interventions.
HOW?
Estrella Salas has researched the concept of playfulness through a series of steps including mood-boards and workshops. Most of the samples were created by screen printing on wood, vinyl cutting on plexiglass and laser cutting felt.
WHY?
Play and playful surroundings can promote creativity, wellness, and productivity in different work scenarios and inspire designers towards a playful goal within spatial design.
