Background
With a special focus on craft, the designer has created an urn intended to provide the bereaved with a safe and meaningful farewell to a deceased person.
Urn for a Meaningful Farewell
The urn is crafted from Danish clay and recycled paper that dissolves upon contact with water, becoming a natural part of an already existing cycle. With this urn, the designer wishes to contribute to the rituals that the bereaved create themselves during ash scattering and urn interment, whether on land or at sea.
