Background
Spain's severe droughts limit water usage in public spaces, threatening wildlife survival. In collaboration with Barcelona's City Council, the designer addresses the impact of climate change on urban wildlife by creating sustainable water sources for birds.

Water for Barcelona's urban birds

Using excess water from restaurants and bars and contributions from passersby to fill the device, the usual habitat of urban birds is adapted and improved. The design not only supports bird populations in drought-affected urban areas but also promotes community engagement in wildlife conservation, demonstrating a practical and meaningful response to environmental challenges.
